Ceramics is alchemy
«Working with clay is a certain kind of magic and a wonderful experience of freedom and depth to express my selfhood, my inner imaginary and poetic world. My work is in constant movement and transformation».

Eugenia Torre is a visual artist and contemporary ceramist. She was born in Buenos Aires in 1969 and has been there since 2015 after living and working in Italy (Volterra-Tuscany) for a few years.

She graduated in 2003 from the National Academy of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and a National Professor degree in Painting.

In 2003, she established her personal brand MET CERAMICA, exclusively dedicated to the design and production of unique pieces: functional objects, items, author pieces, and wall sculptures.

Her artistic journey includes workshops, art and ceramic residencies, seminars, and workshops, as well as teaching at different art institutes (I.U.N.A – A.B.M).

Her work is exhibited in collective and individual exhibitions, art fairs, and art markets across the Americas and Europe. Some of her pieces are part of private collections and museums.
